    Hi,

I am currently using Leopard and got the laptop in late '08. I have seen the minimum requirements for Lion and one of them happens to be that your machine be running Snow Leopard.

Is there anyone out there with suggestions as to how I can get this, inexpensively? Actually, I'm looking to get iLife 11 and Snow Leopard cheap. Are there any 'rumors' out there for an update of iLife?

Suggestions? (Remember - write as if I were a child - not too technical )

You will have to purchase snow leopard for $29.99. Once you do that however, you can buy individual components of ilife on the mac app store if you only want some of them (they go for 14.99 each). After that lion will cost you 29.99.

that is so great....I had no idea that we had the option to buy individual units of iLife....
does Apple usually release a new iLife close to the release of the latest OS?? Or should I just go ahead n stick with iLife 11 or parts of it??

    thanks

iLife and OS releases are not timed together for the most part.
