I surprise-upgraded my wife's iMac from 10.5 Leopard to 10.6.6 Snow Leopard, but she obviously hasn't noticed anything yet. Is there something obviously different or new in Snow Leopard which I can impress with? :)

Click "About This Mac". 99% of the changes for Snow were under the hood, streamlining the OS.

The Mac App Store..? Don't think you can have access with Leopard alone?

You may further impress with an upgrade to iLife11, if she hasn't done that yet...

For the changes introduced with Snow Leopard, read this:
The update to 10.6.6 from 10.6.5 was mainly adding Mac App Store functionality.

I didn't know that the Mac app store was integrated into the OS. Isn't it just an application you can download?

Yes, but you can't install it and it won't work unless you're on 10.6.6.
