I'm in the process of installing Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my Macbook Air.

I tried using two different PCs for CD sharing, and neither would play nice.

NOW, as a result of two install attempts, it looks like I have two extra partitions on my Macbook Air!

I tried ejecting them, throwing them in the trash bin--- No luck. They appear on the desktop each time I restart.

Before I install Snow Leopard, I want these two partitions removed (assuming thats what they are).

Please help!

Use disk utility to delete the partitions and resize your main one. Make sure you back up your data. If it fails, you'll have to re-install OS X.

Dragging them to the trash simply ejects them, not deletes them (which is why the trash turns into an eject icon).
