Snow Leopard & Limewire

Hi all,

Is anyone experiencing problems connecting to Limewire with Snow Leopard? I've ensured the ports are open but I'm having no luck

Maybe Apple finally realized that supporting stuff from the early 90s was out of vogue. Time to upgrade, if you know what I mean.

it's as simple as typing the right string of words into Google

or torrents.

When your looking for one individual song.. you bother with a torrent??

Yeah I know, and thus I included a link to Acquisition
I don't bother with single songs when you can get a whole album with less search effort and probably just as fast. And by search I mean on iTunes of course.

Why not? There's nothing wrong with installing Limewire on your PC.

OP: I'd try using Frostwire, it's an OS X port of Limewire and runs a little bit better.

Anything free? how does transmission work? Acquisition looks familiar to lime wire but transmission is very foreign to me
