Snow Leopard & Limewire

Hi all,

Is anyone experiencing problems connecting to Limewire with Snow Leopard? I've ensured the ports are open but I'm having no luck 🙁

Maybe Apple finally realized that supporting stuff from the early 90s was out of vogue. Time to upgrade, if you know what I mean.😛

it's as simple as typing the right string of words into Google

or torrents.

When your looking for one individual song.. you bother with a torrent??

Yeah I know, and thus I included a link to Acquisition 😉
I don't bother with single songs when you can get a whole album with less search effort and probably just as fast. And by search I mean on iTunes of course.

Why not? There's nothing wrong with installing Limewire on your PC.

OP: I'd try using Frostwire, it's an OS X port of Limewire and runs a little bit better.

Anything free? how does transmission work? Acquisition looks familiar to lime wire but transmission is very foreign to me
