Snow leopard preinstalled in september?

Well I'm planning to buy a MBP 13" in Sept. because thats when snow leopard is coming out and school's starting. The thing is i read online that the first batch of laptops from apple are going to be just shipped with a snow leopard upgrade disk instead of being preinstalled.. you guys think this is true??

and do you guys think its worth the wait?? because I get my loan 2 weeks before september.

It was true with Tiger and Leopard. Machines in stores will probably still have Leopard on them, ones ordered online will most probably have Snow Leopard installed.

And it is no big problem to do the install oneself.

Stock machines packaged but not shipped out as of the release date will likely have a Snow Leopard disk thrown into the box (as has been done in the past).

But do the upgrade disks that come from apple be able to do a full format to start fresh.. i don't really like upgrades

Yes, you will be able to do a "fresh"install

the only thing you need to be aware of with a fresh install, is it will delete your iLife applications. You would have to reinstall them.
