Does anyone have an updated guess as to when Snow Leopard will be released?
No one but Apple knows.
Duff-Man says...aside from the already obvious responses, you could take a moment to search the forums before posting a new thread, and you'd surely have found the sticky thread about 10.6 Snow Leopard that is clearly visible at the top of this forum...oh yeah!
My GUESS is now September 25th 2009 (Friday) for the release.
New iMacs released on 22nd September, 2009 with Snow Leopard. And hopefully new MacBook Pro's...
That is a good guess, it is going to be late September if recent history tells us anything.
They're likely going to wait for the new chips due out end of year/early 2010 before the next MBP update. Big update.
That's relevant how? And mobile Nehalem is late this year or early next year.
In response to what lucious1242 said about new hardware. And yes, those chipsets arrive in Q4 '09/Q1 '10, depending on model.
That'd be really cool if it actually was that day, but history does indeed, like other posters have mentioned, say that it is likely to be the near end of the month rather than early-mid.
If I were to guess, it's going to be a Friday during September.
I too am waiting for Nahlem mobile.
Panther - Friday 24th October 2003
Tiger - Friday 29th April 2005
Leopard - Friday 26th October 2007
Like many others on here, I'm going for Friday 25th September at 6:00pm.
