At least that's what my receipt indicated when I applied for the up-to-date program. Damn that's still far way. :( Can't wait! :)

I think they'll beat that date and deliver SL in early September. Apple loves to be conservative with dates because it's easier to under promise and over deliver than the inverse.

Anyone got the stats on days of the week/time of month for previous releases?

The months of September and October will be blissful for Bootcamp users. Snow Leopard + Windows 7 = :)

Wait, can Snow Leopard boot a 64-bit version of Windows in Bootcamp? Do VMware/Parallels boot 64-bit versions now?

So does this mean I should wait buying a new MBP until September?

If you buy anytime now, you get the update to Snow Leopard for $9.99 instead of $29.99. So no, not really any reason.

If you have a 64 bit Mac that was shipped after about March of 08, Leopard will do it already. I have x64 Windows 7 installed in Boot Camp, and I had Vista x64 before that. Works well. VMware can do 64 bit now.
