Snow Leopard SMC Battery Bug

I think that I have found an annoying bug in Snow Leopard, It appears that the SMC sometimes fails to update Leopard properly about the charging state of the battery.
MacBook Pro 3.1 with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 SMC Version (system)1.18f5
