Snow Leopard works with Kindle 2?

I was wondering if Snow Leopard will work with Kindle 2 if connected to a Mac. Or do I not need to connect it to a Mac because it is wireless? Also, does anyone know if the Kindle 2 will require signature on delivery when shipped and delivered to Canada using Priority International Courier? I just want to make sure before I buy, thank you.

the kindle pages from Amazon state kindle will appear as a storage device when connected to a computer via usb cable, so it should be easy to transfer files.

I dropped the Kindle 2 software update on mine yesterday from my SL Mac Pro. As the previous poster says, it just mounts as a USB drive.
