Well, they are all cheaper than list price, and I suspect that in the main they were never faulty, just returned so get one while you can :)

Just cancelled my order from last week (which was still processing) and picked up a refurbished model. Not only did my delivery date move forward by a week and a half (score) and my price drop by $230 (double score) but Applecare+ was listed as $0.00 so, sure. I'll add that.

Well, looks like AppleCare+ is "no longer available" for this product. Which is weird.

I meant my comment. I had a post that Apple fixed. For 3 days, if you added the base model to the cart you received a message that said you needed to add something to the bag with it. Essentially was an error that is now fixed.
I know what you meant

I wonder if it was related to the error I encountered, which was that AppleCare+ for the above refurbished Minis was listed for $0.00 but if you added it to the cart it said "This product has been discontinued or is no longer available."

First 2018 Mini I have seen on the Australian refurb store went up today.

3.2GHz i7, 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM, 10GB Ethernet

$2099 (AUD)

Savings of $400 (16%) on new.

A bit of a strange configuration. I’d expect 16 GB with those upgrades.

I have a refurbished i7 Mini arriving later today.

But once it's set up and running, I expect it will be significantly different and unique from any other 2018 Mini in America today. I'll post details eventually...

I know, I've made this sort of odd sport of watching refurbs come and go :D I'm about ready to pull the trigger, just letting some dust settle on my end as migrating to a new machine will tie me up for a few days - but it looks like on any given week, if you check the inventory enough, you'll see your desired config show up. (in fact, my exact one did yesterday, 3.2/512/32)

There's a ton of refurbs in stock (US) this morning :)

I was checking yesterday, but the inventory depended on the device I was using. The Apple Store app showed 0 inventory while Safari on iPad/iPhone was showing different ones available compared to Safari on MacOS, weird. I think I may have missed out on the F’ing i7-256GB model for $1099 because I was trying to figure out if it was in stock since conflicting status from different devices :(

Almost tempted to return the i3 Mini for that i5 mini (with 512 GB + 16 GB). But I just do 'lite' office work (using only Mac apps), plus some Xcode. $1269 versus $679 ... think I will stick with my i3.
