So about that earbud-strategy..

If I get this correctly (otherwise, PLEASE right my wrongs):

1. Buy an iPhone 7, get new earpods(lightning)
2. Need to charge new iPhone 7 while consuming media over earpods:
3. 🙁 not possible
4. Buy a new MBP, try new earpods(ltng.)
5. 🙁 not possible
   
6. Have 2 earpods for to different devices, both brand new.

Im I a hippocrite (spelling?) for being annoyed by this? How on earth could a 101% Design-focused company like Apple release such a nonsense?

I'm with you on this one... it's disgusting.

I bought the iPhone 7 Plus knowing I'd only have to go a month or so until the Airpods came out... knowing that Apple promised late october release for the airpods...

Now I'm past the return period, and I can't return the phone, and I can't use the phone without painful complications to charge or use earbuds at the same time.

I don't want big bulky bose headphones. I want simple earbuds that just work.

And now I'm stuck...
