Not talking about other devices or the 2 other phones likely to be released, but the OLED version. Not fishing for WHAT the software or hardware is, just do you think we already know the major points of this phone.

Hmm... Do we pronounce it iPhone “ex” or iPhone “ten”?

I think there’s a story to be told on how the interaction with the OLED iPhone will change since it doesn’t have a home button. Probably the most significant change in iPhone interaction since the beginning.

Not the phone itself, but maybe changes to the headphones included for improved sound quality? I think everything about the phone is out there.

the major would be faceID, OLED and the borders, so yes..

but i think there is more to discover. even the iphone7 had some surprises

Exactly. Things I’m interested to see:

Will they blend in the notch with a dark background?
How will the status bar be split between the two “ears”?
Will it only come with black fronts?
How exactly the interface will work, Siri etc
How will FaceID work exactly?

Pick one.

Got it?

You're wrong.

In all honesty I can't remember where I saw it, but a week or so ago I thought I saw a report saying 'X' was going to be called 'Ten' when verbally talking about the phone. I can't find it now however.

I think we know the major things, OLED and "Face ID" are going to be the main points i think, which is not a bad thing, yes we know they will be there BUT we haven't seen them demoed yet and we won't until Tuesday so that's one thing, but i also think that this "Face ID" is going to be a great feature, also the OLED screen i don't think we know everything about it. There will probably we a few titbits that we didn't know, whether they will be new features or little things regarding "Face ID" or the OLED display i don't know.

I think there’s more major stuff we don’t know yet. I think there’s gonna be something special about the AR support, more than what previous phones can do with AR Kit.

It's pronounced iPhone 'Ex'. It's not the tenth iPhone in their marketing.

Not likely. AR will be a major hardware feature in the 2018 iPhones. There will be new front-facing AR capabilities though

All of these have been answered in the leaks from last night/today.
[doublepost=1504986599][/doublepost]If it has an Apple Neural Engine chip, which would run Siri, Promotion display, etc

Probably a lot of software features left to discuss.

This Is what I look forward to as well. I always appreciate the hardware functionality, but in terms of iOS, there Is always things that are uncovered even after the launch that developers and tech reviewers will have hands-on with the workshops. Lots of information upcoming in the next few weeks.

Yep, me too. The iOS 11 full iPhone experience will only be on the OLED model for now. If it doesn't offer quick charging or many useful iPhone features, I might just stick with the Note 8 and grab a 2018 iPhone.

Well, now that they are all iPhone 8’s it is possible the 8plus gets the updated cameras and sensors, that’s the only thing I’m excited to see.

We don’t know the exact details of what the 8plus vs the X will be, we only know the X will have OLED and bezel-less design.

we also haven't seen the final product in action yet. everything we have seen have been mockups or renders. they are likely close to the real thing, but there surely will be some differences. the camera on the back always looked weird/cheap for example.

and we have only seen photoshopped screen images, since no one has a working model.

I'm most interested in seeing exactly how the home button functions will be will be replaced, and exactly how FaceID will be incorporated to replace TouchID. Also, how versatile will FaceID be? What range of angles will it work with? What about with sunglasses? How does it work with Apple Pay?
And pricing/capacities. And battery life. The leaks still aren't certain about these.

These are the unknowns that will determine whether I get an "iPhone X" or "8 Plus".

Possibly and hopefully TouchID in the power button. No mention of it just like last time.
Yes face recognition is a definite but Apple holds patents for a TouchID in a button

The specs on the front and rear cameras. We don't know how much they'll be improved.

Another thing would be how much faster the A11 is over the A10.

And another thing would be if the battery life on the iPhone X will match or exceed the iPhone 7 Plus's, or the iPhone 8 Plus's for that matter.

Price and storage seem to be the only things we're still speculating about. Although we have a pretty good idea already.

Also accessories.

We know a lot about the parts themselves, but very little about how they'll work.

We do not truly know how FaceID will work: can it really scan faces while lying flat? In the dark? Auto-lock after it detects another face?

Anything about OLED. How it looks, if there's any "advanced" tech they've included like reducing burn in.

Wireless charging and how that works.

The home button being replaced by a gesture. Curious as to how that'll be done system-wide.

The new vertical camera system. We know there's video improvements in terms of resolution and FPS, but what about overall quality? Do both lenses have OIS? Is AR/VR improved at all with them? What about picture quality? And how does this "portrait lighting" feature work?

Have barely heard any rumors about the audio quality and water resistance improving. Will there be anything there?

Still plenty left to be answered.

Say what you want but other than the notch we don't even know what the phones are going to look like.

There is plenty left to reveal.
