so at&t raising plan prices this sunday

i have the 15$/200mb plan and have thought about going to the 25$/2GB for a while now and now i read at&t will be raising to 30$/3GB... i don't need 3GB (even close) and don't want to pay the extra 5$

so this takes in effect sunday correct?? can i change it before hand for the 25$/2GB plan??

Yes, if you change to the $25/2gb plan, while it's still offered, you're fine.

As long as you change your plan to the 2GB plan before they remove it from their systems on Sunday you will be set.

stupid at&t forcing customers to make decisions. why can't they offer new data plans while keeping these old ones available?

i have the 200mb data plan. I received 13% FAN discount if I opt for the 2gb plan, lowering it to $21.75, and I occasionally switch to it during the rare month that I go over 200mb. Now essentially their new 300mb plan is equal to the cost of the current 2gb plan.

Just did this exact thing for my wife's phone. Didn't realize that the 200mb
plan didn't get the FAN discount. I get 20% off so the 2gb plan is $20. It's
worth the extra $5 so she can stream a little more Pandora and not worry
about it.
