So.. can it share an iPhone data network over bluetooth?

I already pay a lot for my iphone 3g data plan.
My carrier lets me tether for free. So can we tether our iphone's data connection to the iPad over bluetooth?

That's the million dollar question, Apple hasn't adressed it, so for the release I would guess no. Maybe in an update.

I'm in the same boat as you and would love tethering.
