OK, So I ordered a 20" iMac last week, and it has yet to ship...

It is driving me insane waiting for it, and to top it off, I am very impatient.

Anyways, I ordered the 20" iMac and got a free iPod nano. The problem here obviously is waiting for the new one to arrive. I went to the apple store and they didn't have any standard 20" models so I was forced to order online.

Now i'm having crazy thoughts... I have a 46" Samsung DLP which I never use (in my bed room!), I don't even have cable. I'm tempted to sell it for cheap just to pay the difference between the standard 20" model and the 24". (and it would help out my sister who has no TV in her new home.)

Basically what I want to ask is how good is front row for watching movies, and how good is the 24" iMac for watching movies?(screen size) I can have this sucker tomorrow, no waiting for it to ship from Shanghai China. I know there are alot of threads asking for advice between the two, but I'm drunk and I didn't feel like piggy backing on someone elses thread. Thanks!

I don't know much about DLPs, but it looks like it could be good to connect it up to the iMac to watch movies on. It'd be better than the glass/glossy display of the iMac anyway.

Well I've made up my mind. I talked to my brother who is gonna buy the tv off of me and hes also gonna pay for the 24" iMac (I pay him back on Monday) hes gonna deduct the price of the tv off the iMac. Thanks for the input, wish me luck on the apple store having the 24" in stock.

That's quite a ways down from 46'' to 24''...you sure you can handle it? ;)

The glass on the display should not bother you much when watching film/video content, though ymwv...remember, most CRT/Tube TVs and monitors also have glass on their display... :)
