I run Parallels and it works really well for me.

I typically run software development environments (Eclipse, NetBeans) which are quite memory intensive, but work well.

I'd recommend downloading the trials of both and seeing which you prefer.

Sorry to drift OT a bit, but why do you run Eclipse and NetBeans in a VM - you can run both of them natively in OSX...

Back on topic again, I have bought Fusion and Parallels (I got Parallels before Fusion cam out) and much prefer Fusion

Yeah you can run them natively but unfortunately I can't (ever?) run Java 6 on my Mac. Java 6 is only supported on 64-bit Leopard. My Mac is running 32-bit Tiger. So short of me buying a new Mac or Apple releasing Java 6 for Tiger, I'll have to stick to Windows.

Amazon has it for $39.99 AFTER a $20 rebate. Not exactly sure if that's cheap relative to other options, but it is half off the list price.

Wow. Fusion is the popular choice, by far.

I have both and have settled on Parallels (for now!). They both have annoying quirks. After a lot of going back and forth, I found
Parallels to be less annoying. But that is highly dependent on my apps, workflow and even my backup scheme. Someone with subtley different requirements might like Fusion.

Fusion seems to work for most people, though, so your odds are best with it. Just don't think that it's going to be perfect.
