I just don't get this blog. There are soooooo many forums and everything is way too compartmentalized. I just want to talk about Apple.

There are forums for the various Apple products and operating systems. What's so confusing?

MacRumors is not just a blog but a forum that encourages dialog on various apple related products and services.

Consider this, do you file all your paperwork into one folder, or categorize your financial paperwork according to type, like utilities, credit cards, mortgage or rent all going into separate folders.

If you did it all into one, it would lead to confusion, likewise with MR

This is probably the biggest Apple related message board on the www, and to keep discussion in its proper place, it has a lot of sub fora, for every product and for almost everything else.
It is just like every other message board with sub fora, only that the ones here, are not as ugly.

If you just want to talk Apple, the company, then go here: https://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=8

Hey, you found the Site & Forum feedback, that is a big plus.
And if you look at https://forums.macrumors.com, you will see a all the sub fora, which should be self explanatory.

I wanted to talk about Apple in general. Thanks for the smartarse reply. Show some class like the other people did and point out helpful links rather than being snooty.

Apple, Industry and Internet Discussion

FWIW, That was not a smartarse reply at all.
If you managed to find your way to the Site and Forum Feedback area then you should have found that one with no confusion. ;)

Edit: Nevermind. Simsaladimbamba said it…
