So... Did EVERYONE Who Pre-Ordered on the 15th Get Delivery for the 23rd?

Like the majority of people, mine will arrive on the 23rd. I do have one question though.. is signature required? If so, it doesn't say so on the tracking information. If it is required, then I'll have to get it on Thursday, if not, I'll have my phone tomorrow (if no one steals it from my door step... lol). The funny thing is, my $1,700+ MacBook Pro was sitting on my door step all day (from FedEx too), so I'm assuming a $200 phone wouldn't require signature.

FedEx still says the 24th but i got an email from apple saying it will be tomorrow. I can hardly contain myself!

Does anyone think there will be a large number of people activating tomorrow, causing it to be a rough day? Or do you guys think it should go pretty smoothly?

That is my situation as well -- received the e-mail from Apple saying expect it on the 23rd, but FedEx is still saying June 24th by 4:30pm.

That said, it -seems- like it might be here by tomorrow...I'm in Houston and it arrived in Memphis late last night and left Memphis earlier today, so I imagine it'll be in the area tonight.

No idea who to believe. Would like to believe it's arriving tomorrow, particularly because the Apple e-mail specifically says that your FedEx tracking might still say 6/24. Who knows? Feel lucky that I got a preorder in at all!

I ordered Jun 15th and got a July 2nd ship date....however, I got a tracking number and mine has been shipped and said it will arive June 24th before 10:30am

Yes, I ordered on 6/15 and will receive it (hopefully) by tomorrow. I ordered at 5:09 AM PDT on ATT premier. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back to Thursday. It's cool though, I can wait one more day. :3

Mine has been in Newark, NJ since 2:30 AM and is still there currently at 7:12PM. So basically it got from China to NJ faster then it will get to south jersey from Newark.

Makes no sense. I figured it would at least said it left Newark today, but no..

I found a nice little form for people who aren't home on the day of delivery. Just make sure you provide a nice hiding spot for the FedEx fella.

Something, to think about folks. If 600,000 thousand phones, or more are coming via Fedex, and each phone has to be scanned at each hub, the uploaded to the server, to update your tracking info........ And everyone checking the tracking info, every 10 seconds.. Dont ya think, that maybe some of those were not updating tracking info, BECAUSE THE FEDEX SITE, might be having difficulty handing the load... I mean, even apples site was having problems.

I was told by fedex that you have to reach macrumor "member" status for your phone to come off backorder and recieve June 23rd.

It's so irritating. Especially with the fact that everyone else's early delivery is being flaunted around. And we are stuck with regular delivery, despite our early purchases
