took a picture from the 12 pro video, they looks slightly smaller. Look tighter around the notch/top.

very hard to find picture where you can see the screen, all the pictures are so dark.

I think that, for the Pro and Pro Max, they haven’t reduced the bezels of the display in relation to the glass. But because they have flat sides, the glass extends *almost* (it’s actually inserted) to the edge of the body, while with the 11/11 Pro/Max you had to count the projection of the curved sides. So I think that the bezels on the screen haven’t shrunk, but the relation screen/silhouette has improved.

For the regular 12 it’s a double effect, because in that case, thanks to OLED, they’ve actually reduced the bezels.

To me, it looks like the actual bezel (screen edge to glass edge, or the black border) is the same. BUT, the iPhone X-11 design has the curved frame design, so the sides of the frame protrude from the edge of the glass by a tiny bit. That is (mostly) gone now, so I guess if You say bezel is the distance from the screen edge to the frame edge, then it is smaller.

Bezels look thinner as the frame is not curved. The actual bezels are the same size!

Not sure if this is totally valid but I ran a few numbers for fun:

If you compare the iPhone's screen size to the full diagonal (based on height and width), the 11 Pro's screen is 91.7% of the phone, whereas the 12 Pro is 94.8%.

Yes, the glass bezel and metal bezel is thinner.

Both of these comments are really helpful.

It’s almost as if Apple themselves said it a bunch and even published that the bezels were smaller right on the iPhone page.

I’m not sure why people here are still saying they think they’re the same size. It’s very clear that they’re not.

Holding it now and I’m not impressed. Too much bezel. Meanwhile Samsung can take it past the edge and even curve it over.
