180/130 is REALLY high. Hope you get better.

Trolls that were bored!

And thanks, I am. The new med has really helped.

That blood pressure is not "really, really high". I have high blood pressure and have NEVER been to the hospital because my blood pressure got high. higher than 180/130.

And any person that lives in Seattle has heard of Harborview Medical center. It's the largest hospital in Seattle. I know because I lived there for 30 years.

This discussion needs to go to the wasteland.

Normal range is up to 120/70. At 180/130...it is high/at the hypertensive phase AND you're starting to risk CHD. Just because it can go even higher (towards fatal levels) or because you personally don't acknowledge it for what it is, doesn't mean it wasn't worryingly high to begin with.

Google is your friend. Get some reading done (for your health's sake) and post less.

I live in the suburbs, not downtown Seattle and when you've had CHF that BP with an erratic heart rate is far too high to be safe.

Thank you! With my meds, I'm normally 116/68, so it was very high for me.

I hope your OK!

Also I too would be miserable with crappy wifi ;)

I don't even know if our hospitals have wifi

Hope you feel better soon.

Silly question: why are you using the hospital wifi instead of your phone's 3G?

I went to the er and was admitted yesterday as well, but fortunately it looks like I will avoid surgery. I didn't realize hospitals had wifi either, but I guess I don't keep up with the latest ammenities in hospitals.....

Best of luck on your recovery.

I've been in several hospital emergency rooms for my disabilities.

None of them allowed WiFi or cellular because it interferes with the equipment not to mention any patient that has a implant for their heart.

This hospital would be very unusual.

Google is not my friend. Might be yours but sure isn't mine.
I'm very familier with high blood pressure since I take medication for it and have had it since 1975.
Post less ? Ha! I'm in the top 50 and I'm gonna stay there thank you very much.

I didn't know you have CHF so my apologies but.
You said you had never heard of Harborview Medical Center so how did you know it was downtown ?

carry on.

I should think this was the case and the OP was just being selfish... disgusting

I looked it up, when you asked about it. LOL

I got to the one closest to me, since that's where my cardiologist is.
