Recently started saving for a MacBook. I originally thought that it was going to be a long, long wait until I finally had the money for one...until yesterday that is! My Mum got a letter saying that, because I'm 16 in 2 weeks, I can have access to my ''bonds account'' which is an account which my Mum & Dad have been putting money in annually from a young age. So, I asked how much was in there....and she said £500! Great news for me! That means that I should have my very own MacBook before Christmas! I can't wait much longer!!! 😛 😀 😀 😀

Why don't you wait till after MWSF (in early January) and get it with iLife '07 pre-installed?

That way the only thing you'll need to buy next year will be Leopard.

I have to agree with Chundles.

If money is tight, I would hold off for Leopard/iLife '07 at this point if you can stand the wait.
