On my 5s no lag whatsoever. Don't get why some have lag on the same version, same model.

Are you sure? Try to expand and collapse the cities. Wait a second before switching cities and you'll notice a severe amount of frames dropping.

Some people just don't notice some things that can still be there or simply don't consider them as anything in particular even when they are there and they might notice them.

Absolutely! I think Apple engineers are deliberately coding the Weather app to make the lag even more obvious, just so they can watch the Debbie Downers' heads explode :)

I don't think so, the app lags even on the iphone 6. NO, the truth is that the engineers are just very stupid and incompetent since Scott Forstall left.

While I understand your point, I'd argue that this is pretty much something you can't ignore once you've seen it. Now if people actually care about it is a completely different discussion.

Tried. 25 ways to Sunday. No lag.

That's strange.

I completely agree--it doesn't change the fact as to whether or not something is actually there or what something is or isn't basically.

Great. Same settings, similar usage as when I got the 10 hour cycle, and things are going bad again. I'm at minimum brightness and was at 20% before. I usually pulled off 3 and a half hours up to 70% before but now I'm at 70% with just over 2 hours of use. Phone is getting warm just from messages/safari. Got about 7 and a half hours on my last charge, thought it was due to me playing games but apparently not because I haven't played any today.

This is so frustrating because I don't even change anything yet my battery just acts inconsistent.

Differences in notifications, differences in connections perhaps taking longer or happening more frequently for things in the background (like mail or other accounts/services) due to something on their end or something else, differences in movement and signal strengths (even around the same places), etc?

I have been in the same location for the duration of this drain. It ranges from -80db to about -118db of LTE. My house is where LTE can be anywhere from -95ish to -118ish so I turn LTE off when I'm home to take away one bad signal from the mix of 3. (I believe it works so on my phone, even while on wifi, it will be receiving Verizon's 1x network for calls, the LTE network for data, and WiFi simultaneously) This seems to have improved battery life quite a bit, but it may be placebo. I also turn wifi off and data on when I leave home. Bluetooth is always off.

Anyway, I hate to say this but I think it was a false alarm. I think earlier in the day I did something to make my phone drain fast without realizing, and that put it at about 70% a lot earlier than usual. It seems to have "caught up" now and I'm at 50% with 4 hours and 30 minutes of use, putting me on track for about a 9 hour cycle. Even if it's not going to get 9 hours, I'm satisfied with anything more than like 8 hours or so. Which seems to be easy to regularly reach now, thankfully.
