iPod touch So here's the story

I ordered an iPod touch 4G from amazon about a month ago. I am going to return it to get the the New iPod touch 5G. I won't have an iPod to use for a while. Should I return it now or wait for it to be released in October

My 2nd generation iPod touch broke about a month before the 4th generation came out. It felt like a completely different device after a month of being limited to the computer.

You should definitely return it and wait.
