No mention of battery life, not even the classic "same full day on a single charge" line...?!
I wasn't expecting a whole week due to the old design, they'll leave that for Series 7 i guess.

But...if the battery life follows the same "Series 3 vs Series 4 vs Series 5" extrapolation, this thing might actually has to be charged daily ffs?
For my usage profile & all settings similar: Series 3 - 4.5 days, Series 4 - 2.5 days, Series 5 1.5 days.

It seems battery life is the same. It's a guess but I bet the battery is actually smaller which is why it charges "20% faster" with the same cables and charger... basically they took the power savings of the new S6 system on a chip and used them to make the battery smaller and allow the screen to be 2.5x brighter outdoors while still having the same battery life. That's an educated guess... we will see in the teardown.

My guess is that it’s going to suuuuuck. ??‍♂️

Actually, the SE may be better than the S5 or 6, since it doesn’t have the AOD, the ECG, or Force Touch.

I have no hope of the S6 having better battery than the S5. I don’t know why, but Apple has been really messing with Watch customers, trying their hardest to keep the battery life the same by making the battery smaller, even with power efficiencies gained elsewhere.

After 2 years, my Series 3 still lasts over a full 2 days and nights, but I ordered the 44mm SE for my wife, even though she’d be better off with the 40mm. I don’t want to gift her an AW with worse battery life than my 2 year old AW.

One year they really need to have an 's' year and just go for extending battery life. Although the 3 was great and the 4 is just about ok for me, the 5 and (most likely) 6 will not suit my needs.
