Is this still left in the MobileMe limbo? Now that the iCloud beta is out (yes, I'm a developer), I've been wondering about this.

Is it integrated into the Apple Account now, or is it still exclusively for MobileMe Subscribers?

According to the transition info page it will be a part of iCloud:
http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html

How exactly it will be implemented, I'm not sure, but i assume that you'll just log in with your iCloud Apple ID on all your Macs and they would then each show up in the Finder sidebar.
