After a few weeks on the 15 hr, looking at fonts on the regular screen is like looking at duplo blocks compared to regular lego blocks.

the hr is about the same font wise to the 27" acd at 2560x1440.

1920x1200 on the 24" is smaller than the 15 reg, but bigger than the 15 hr.

15" Hi-Res MacBook Pro: 128 PPI
15" 'Low'-Res MacBook Pro: 110 PPI
27" Apple Cinema Display: 108 PPI
24" 1920x1200 monitor: 94 PPI

Higher the PPI the smaller the text.

that's not true, you would need about 2560x1600 to get similar sized text on a 24" monitor, even higher of a resolution on a 27" monitor.
