I'm hearing that a reservation is need to preview and order the Apple Watch. So how exactly do you make the reservation? I don't see anything on their website or on the Apple Store App.

I would assume you would be able to do it on line. Otherwise it would make no sense to make it in the store.

So I got to get in line to make a reservation at the Apple Store?! What is this, the DMV?

Looks like you will need to make a reservation then come back at the time you reserved. Nothing official on this, just my thoughts.

Reservations will likely be available online from April 10th. You may also be able to go in store and make a reservation but I suspect this won't be an option. Either way you won't be able to make a reservation until the 10th.

order on line
get the watch the 24th
take it back to your local store after the 24th if you need exchanges or returns.

I'm app store ordering two watches 3 am 4/10 and will return the one I don't like. I'd rather do my own personal "appointment" here in my office, than down a store that is in chaos, staff recently trained, and just the gen hassle of wasting gas and such...

The Apple Store app on iPhone lets you create an appointment at an Apple Store. Starting on the 10th, you'll be able to create appointments to see the watch.
