It doesn't bother me and I think it looks quite good. I have a SBSS and coupled with straps that are red or have a red part to them it looks great. My favourite atm is a 3rd party Nike clone - black with red circles.

I have to make an effort to even see it and it never bothered me to begin with. Suspect only an Apple watch person would notice it-maybe—I’m just happy having something different (gold) than Space Gray—which is the color of everything Apple I own and have owned. I waited since the original series Watch to upgrade so having LTE (and a bigger battery and storage), red dot or not, is lovely.

Just bought some red hoodies for the weekend too now, so I'm sorted for the whole week! Will be invoicing Apple for my recent purchases...

I don't notice the dot either. But I like the Explorer face even more than I thought I would, and it looks best with the full red hands. They really jump off the display and are easy to see and read at a glance. So my watch currently flashes a lot red, but that is mostly all the bright red hands. I can't tell if the dot color matches the hand color; it seems like they should but they may not; when you view the dot the hands are on an angle and are darker than then they appear from above.

So...do the diamonds scratch the glass??? :D

They do not. I don't wear them on top of the watch. That would be silly!

At night in the bedroom when the light is out it looks fairly black to me, matching perfectly my black stainless steel ...

I had to start going to therapy 3 times a week (instead of 2) just to cope with the red dot. I am making progress. I now have a comfort Marmot that travels with me at all times to help me when the red dot makes me feel bad. Oh and cocoa..a lot of cocoa.

I have to wear special glasses that filter out red from the world to mitigate the red dot. The world may not be as colourful and stop signs a bit more dangerous, but at least I cannot see the dot...

I have had my BSS AW3 since first day and I bet I have not actually seen my red dot but a few times.

Have you changed how you dress so it does not clash with your outfit?:p

In the end for most it was and still is not an issue. But for some, I am sure it iso_O

Wow.

The AW is a tech toy, not a major defining lifestyle choice.

You would not think so for some of the posts months ago about the red dot.

I think I said something like DevNull0 either earlier in this thread or in another...so I'll just say "amen" and resist the urge to giggle yet again. I could say more in the same vein but it'd be taken by some people here as arrogant. :)^)
