yeah dated is a better word, but i have 2gb of ram in it so its still uptodate with average performance, but when new stuff comes out you just look at your old one and kinda wish you could swap em out:(, oh this material world :cool:lol

Sure it wont work that fast, maybe not well at all, but it will connect hehe

No dice, those USB->expresscard adapters only support expresscards that are usb-based devices , for wireless internet cards and such.
Firewire cards are pci-e based devices and hence will not work.

Also that ethernet firewire adapter turned out just to be a network cable testing device.

So firewire on the macbook is still no.
