I'm new to this too (although I do have an iPad). So far my go to apps are:

FeeddlerPro
News360
Instapaper
Tweetbot
Paperless
Talkroom
Ness
Camera+

I'm also using Atomic, which I like. The icon is horrible, however.

Camera+ is still loads better than Apple's native camera app. You can reduce the quality of photos taken to fit 1200x1200 in case you want to save space. There is a timer. There is a host of other editing features not found in Apple's camera.

Totally worth the nominal fee (I think it is 99 cents of 1.99)

What I really can't figure out is why Apple doesn't just implement all these things natively.

i have soundhound and shazam to tag a song to a name but i was looking for an app to download the song ... coming from android there were tons of apps to download songs.

On the iphone i have tried 6 different MP3 download apps and most of them dont allow u to specifically search for a song .. just has a browser section where u click on a link and it takes u to free mp3 songs

they still arent the best ... looking for some recommendations from my fellow members .. let see who the first wiseass says Itunes .. haha

Hmmm I never really had that problem since I had a huge CD collection before there was an iTunes that I ripped in Lossless. I could never listen to crappy MP3's anyway and can only imagine the horrible sound quality/bit rate of free downloads. I'm thinking the old saying you get what you pay for applies in your case.

Thanks for all the great App suggestions in this thread. I've had my device well over a year and discovered a few new good ones. I would like to add a few myself.

Alarmed: Awesome reminder, wake up, sleep timer, clock etc with all kinds of settings/adjustments.

Xfinity: if thats your cable company must have to record shows.

Errands: I use this for projects mostly. Allows you to create check lists within the task/errand/project etc. Paid version gets passcode lock.

iCam: Allows you to monitor webcam from phone. Imagine the possibilities?

+ 1 on Doodlejump. By far my favorite iPhone game.

Rowmote Pro nice way to get some control over Pandora running on the Mac desktop which is way better than streaming over the phone.

If you like music, you may want to try iSub Music Streamer. It streams your personal library from home in seconds. Works just like iTunes match but you are able to stream higher quality music like FLAC files.

Setting it up is a bit more complicated than other apps like audio galaxy, but once you set it up it is well worth it.

The app costs 5 bucks, and the server is free which allows you to view your music and video files from any web browser. The API to be able to stream it to phones is free for 30 days. Paying a donation will free it up for life.

Install all social networks apps like Facebook, twitter, Google+ and mainly Skype, i think this all helps you in your routine life. If you are pet lovers then install "The Pet Pal” app.

Cheers:)
