I have let my iTunes Match expire but every time I log into my Mac I get a pop up saying my "iCloud music library" session has expired. In the pop up it gives me the option to sign in. I also got another pop up when I downloaded a song from iTunes and then added it to a playlist. See attached photos. Beside that playlist in the left side bar there is now a cloud icon with a line through it. How do I get rid of these pop ups entirely? I don't need or want cloud services. This to me feels like Apple intruding and pressuring me to return to iCloud.

Somewhere I read that after expiring Apple keeps your cloud library for a month or so if you change your mind. In preferences did you unclick ICloud Music and Apple Music? If not you have applied pressure to yourself :)

Are you referring to iTunes preferences? There is an Apple Music check box under the "general" tab which is unchecked. Otherwise I don't see anything else. I guess I can understand Apple keeping ones iCloud for a bit of time after expiration just in case one changes their mind. But the pop up each time I log into my Mac is still annoying.

I still subscribe to Icloud Music and there are two check boxes on mine Apple Music, which I don't use and Icloud Music. Have you tried signing out and back in on Itunes?

I signed out and back in and that seems to get rid of the pop ups. I only got one saying the Genius results are not available which I don't care for anyway. Guess I'm just old school.
