I like the way you think.

Omg I loled in real life :D

No.

In actual fact, the RAC man removed the rear centre brake light, unplugged the water hose and power cord, earthed a 12v battery to the car, plugged the other cable to a multimeter and the other mutlimeter cable the to blue and white cable.

Then the car unlocked!

Oh wow, I would've just thrashed the windshield (once the mice got trapped and started suffocating). And I have an engineering background

After spending an hour out in the cold muddy dark outside trying with a coathanger, I really thought the guy would do the same. But 10mins later POP!

He made it look very easy. He says he's deals with this at least once a day:eek:

That was my next guess, although Lau's sounded pretty good as well.

I locked my keys in the car once and the cop used a slim jim to get me in.

Problem is on a modern car one can not longer use a slim jim because they changed out they do design to make it impossible for a slim jim to work any more.

When I lock my keys in my trunk I call a lock smith and he used an air bag in the door to flex it open about a 1/4 of an inch shoved a melt rod in their and hit the power door lock. Took him about 5 mins to do it.
