So I ordered a 16” MBP on November the 29th, and it got delivered on Dec the 10th of this month, but..

The warranty shows that it ends on dec the 3rd 2020 [as shown here](https://picul.de/QVS). It is still in its box, not opened. I’m not in the US atm, and it was shipped to a friend’s address there (I’m opening it on dec 23rd when I arrive). So why does it show that the warranty started on dec the 3rd? it wasn’t even out for delivery on that day; it was on “preparing to ship” status. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

Not sure about it. My service coverage expires exactly 12 months after I pick-up mine from apple store (BTO).
