Ordering myself an apple watch with classic black buckle and I have a delivery timeframe of May 21-Jun 4.

What are the chances based on previous pre orders it will move forward?

No one knows right now. You are the first I heard of in that date range. I'm in May 13th-27th.

It will all depend on what watch you get along with the band. I've got the watch-mid range (not sport or edition) and the black classic strap. What do you have?

My iPhone 6 plus shipped about a week earlier than the projected ship date. Probably a good chance, just keep an eye on it

Here's screenshot- I edited my previous post- ordered on 4/17 not 4/15. Delivery is to Wisconsin.

What happened in launches past really won't give you good guidance. This is a totally new product and who knows what could go down. The dates are a 10-14 day spread to cover any issues that might delay shipping (so they don't get bad press for 'delays') but it's hard to call whether things could go better than the early part of that range.

About the only hope buyers have at this point is a bunch of folks deciding to cancel orders, including having ordered two choices before a try on, or Apple uncovering a **** ton of reseller orders.

I think chances are good. The past IS an indicator. When Apple has had higher demand then expected they tend to work hard to catch up on backlog. Yes, it is a new product, but they have the same incentive to speed up production and sell them as fast as possible, now that the product is finished, at least the first version.

Orders pushed way ahead almost always end up getting out earlier than first scheduled, at least with Apple. I have been buying Apple stuff a long time, and buy a new iPhone every time, whether I need it or not. lol. So keep your hopes up and keep checking those shipping dates.
