Are you southern hemisphere? Because if you went to the beach for the evening in the UK right now you'd freeze to death...😱

I'm in the Northern hemisphere (latitude 32N) I was at the beach didn't freeze. I'm in California. Temps get to about mid 60s (F) at night right now

Wow...that is nearly identical to how beaches (of the great lakes) in Michigan look.

I love sandy dunes and weeds, tall hills, and cold water 😀

I was going to ask him if those photos from michigan, but then i realized that it is FREAKING cold and cloudy here and he took them only a month ago

(I live in Holland on Lake Michigan for school)

C-C-C-Canada!

This is a photo of the beach in front of my cottage on Lake Erie in Southern Ontario, Canada. It was taken a couple of years ago, but I thought I'd add it to the fray...

^^What city/town is closest to that beach? Near Chatham, or near Rondeau Provincial Park?

That was taken on the Lake Erie beach, inside Rondeau Provincial Park. It is a beautiful and unique natural sandspit formation, heavily forested surrounded on three sides by water. The park is about 35km south of Chatham, Ontario; 100km east of Detroit/Windsor; 100km west of London, Ontario; and 48 nautical miles due north of Cleveland, Ohio (as the salmon swims!) We're a big birdwatching tour stop in the spring, and one of Canada's best windsurfing/kiteboarding/sailing recreation spots. I am fortunate because my parents bought one of a limited number of cottage leases in the park, which I plan to hold on to for the rest of my life. If you're interested in the Rondeau area here are some links:

All these beach photos make me want it to be summer right now, with a hot sun blazing overhead, and me lazing at the beach watching and listening to the ocean!

Reminds me a bit of the Outer Banks of North Carolina....
