You think that is bad, did you see how much the price is for "Enterprise" users (aka anyone who wants Exchange email)? $45 a month!
No it isn't.I called both companies to get quotes and got these:
Verizon - 450 minutes/unlimited text/ unlimited web $79.99
Sprint - 450 minutes/unlimited text/unlimited web $69.99
those are on par w/ at&t's quotes for their 3g pricing.
No it isn't.
Sprint's is signifigantly cheaper, IMHO.
$39.99 450 mins on AT&T Plan
$30.00 Unlimited Web
That's $69, and without ANY SMS/Text. Add $5 for a measly 200 msgs. Or $20 for unlimited. That's $89 on AT&T compared to $69 on Sprint.
What do you mean? He said Sprint & Verizon's were on par with AT&T's pricing. I said no it isnt and showed how sprint is $20 cheaper for the same thing. So Sprint must have lied to him eh?![]()

Yeah, and if you want an AT&T 3G iPhone plan similar to the $69 and $79 Sprint and Verizon plans Bosox3 mentioned it will cost you $89. $10 or $20 difference per month adds up over a 24 month period. He also stated that he called both of them up to get pricing.
as much as it sucks..its actually on par w/ most of the other carriers...like verizon and sprint.
I don't know what you are talking about, but I get unlimited texts on Sprint for only $5 per month.
People can bitch all they want about Sprint, I know it's the cool thing to do online at the moment, but I've been a Sprint customer for two years and have had great service, both customer and technical. I was an ATT wireless user for a year and it was absolutely awful. The CS agents were idiots, the service sucked, the price sucked, it was just plain terrible. Same goes for their landline and long distance service. But then you're stuck using Sprint.
For the record, a chunk of that money goes to RIM for the push email and other services. It'd be sort of like having Mobile Me built into the price of your iPhone. Anyways, you need to switch your Sprint plan to one of the new "everything" plans. You can get 450 minutes, unlimited text/m2m/n&w @ 6, data, and BB service for about $70, which sounds like it's less than you are paying now and you'll get texts. On my Sprint blackberry I pay $39.99 a month FOR JUST THE DATA with NO text messages, $5 a month for mobile to mobile and $10 for night and weekends starting at 6pm

I dont believe he is saying that the actual cost of Sprints plan is lower than $69. He is just saying that $10-$20 a month is not "on par". and a $20 difference is significantly cheaper.
