So Lion just Updates from Snow Leopard, right?

    It works just like the update from Leopard to Snow Leopard, correct? I don't need to worry about a clean install or any of that nonsense - all my files and such will still be where I left them?

    Yes this is correct. However, as I said in another post, if you aren't a developer who is testing out your app(s) then there is no real reason to install it yet. There is likely to be small bugs (like every GM build) and some apps will likely not work. It would be smarter to wait until the Mac App Store release or even better wait for 10.7.1 to come out.

    No worries there - I'm actually a dev (gasp!) using it for legitimate purposes. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any erasing happening before continuing the install.
