Guess i must have made a mistake then - my AW device was at best 10-12hours.
No one else in the office got close to the 18hours above either, but i guess YMMV...

Your watch was defective or you must have been using it quite heavily. I've been on this and other message boards discussing the Apple Watch since it hit the market, and my experience of having plenty of battery life after 18 hours is pretty typical. On the days i use Workout or talk on my watch I might be closer to 15 or 20 % by the end of the day. Otherwise it's more like 30-40%.

I've had mine for 2 months. Most of the notifications are switched off (I've only got messages, calendar and e-mail) and I use only a handful of 3rd party apps. After a 15-hour day, the battery will still be at around 50%. Around 10% less if I work out that day (usually around 1 hour)

Normally my battery is ~50% at the time before I go to sleep. And I work out for an hour daily.

I guess mine and the other people that report similar issues are completely different.
In the same way some people seem to be able to use an iPhone all day but others need to recharge it twice/day..

I guess I will wait for the March event, see what software they do and what's improved and go from there. Upgrading to either the Fitbit blaze or 38mm since it's $100 off
