So my MacBook 'Pro' continues to be more amatuer.

See the attached - it's what my iTunes currently looks like. Odd thing is, if I take a screen grab, it looks fine. What's causing this? Never had this problem on my 2011 Air.

That is a graphics problem. Try to restart. Just standby and wake up can be enough to fix it. If it is the hardware, it will show up frequently and you are out of luck. If it is just an unlucky software bug just restarting should do away with it and updateing or removing the program that might have caused it.
