So my S2 SS arrived Friday...

Honestly, I was torn over the upgrade from the S1 aluminum because I just didn't know if I'd feel like it was worth the money. I struggled with the purchase, but ultimately bit the bullet and just went for it.

OMG I am SO glad I did! This watch is stunning. I LOVE the feel of it, and it is just beautiful. I have my turquoise sport band on it and it looks awesome! (I am going to order a nice link band for sure now that I have the stainless).

My daughter is enjoying the aluminum, but I don't know if I'll ever own anything other than the SS; it definitely exceeded my expectations.

And the battery life going from S1 to S2; it was 68% when it arrived Friday, and I put it on that afternoon, didn't charge it that night, wore it all day yesterday, didn't charge last night because the charger was in the guest room and my sister was asleep in there. It STILL had battery this morning! I stuck it on the charger this morning for an hour or so, took it off at 100% and have had it on nearly 6 hours and it's still over 90%. THAT is awesome!

Yeah, the battery life is one of the best improvements. And for you upgrading from Aluminum to SS is a big change. I love the dazzling finish.

The stainless model weight makes it feel so much more substantial over the aluminum model. It's worth extra money with the sapphire display.

Well I hoped it would be enough to keep me from regretting the extra money, and it definitely is! I definitely wake up excited to put it on!
 
I have a preowned SS S0 (edit)- I got about 4 months at a great price. When I received it look like it had been worn 3 times max- I immediately added a Milenase band and it became a must have on my wrist daily. I wanted to make sure I would really use it. I am thinking about upgrading to the SS s2 for the battery life by the summer. I love my Apple Watch

I bought mine used, but it looked brand new when it arrived. It's still got Apple warranty for 6+ months too. I absolutely LOVE it!

You should see if Apple will let you buy AppleCare+ for it. They've changed the rules allowing you to add it to an iPhone during the first year, so they may say yes to the watch. It doesn't hurt to ask.

For me it was the opposite. I hated the extra weight of the SS and went back to the Aluminium.

Different strokes for different folks!
