Yea I know they don't have any to replace it with at the moment, I just prefer dealing with people in person rather then sending it in via box over the phone.

For what it's worth to any fishermen out there it's a great companion. I usually leave my phone in the car when I know we'll be wadding just in case I take an off the schedule swim(see: slip and fall) but with the Apple Watch I was able to put the iPhone into a Cabela watertight box, tie that to my backpack and let the watch take over. Worked great although I did notice some significant lag between feeling\hearing the phone and getting any info on the watch. Fishing with the watch does make you wish for even a cheap point and click camera on the watch though.

I'll be very surprised if they can help you at all.

So they advised that the best thing(i.e. quickest) was to give me a refund on a gift card and re-order a new one. They agreed that the drop and water shouldn't have been enough to kill it out right so no issue returning it.

Ouch my watch also last only 3 days... to be exact 3 days and 9 minutes. But that was mainly because I wore it during a long flight from Sydney to LA. I guess due to no internet, it shut off most notifications unless it's local apps like Gulp. He he he

I refuse to baby my stuff....so I always buy Apple Care+ for all my stuff.

But even though I don't baby my stuff, the only time I've used it was for a battery replacement on my iPhone 5. Which because of the defective battery issue, they may have replaced anyway.

I bought my SG Sport mainly for the fitness features. So I run, left weights, sweat, etc, all over it.
