Education store has the same price for all ipods as regular store.

I seriously doubt it that student can get a copy of Leopard for $69.

    Why?!

Ipod's don't have educational discounts since Gen 2. Laptops still do. I was disappointed the iphone didn't have a discount too. Tiger had the discount which brought the price down to $69 I think its going to be the same with leopard.

The stores give you discounts on most stuff except ipods.. You don't need an ipod for education, but you need leopard :)

Software, too--you can't get the edu discount at a retail store.

    Welcome to 2006...

You will be able to get Leopard for $69 though...just not in an actual store, you'll have to order it online.

Apple stopped EDU discounts on iPod last year when they refreshed the entire iPod lineup and updated the 5G to 5.5G. They slashed the price $50 and called it a day.
