So sad about Jet Black missing

Anyone else sad that the beautiful Jet Black had such a short run and we now have the boring space gray back?

Very sad, although a change they made in iOS 10.2 kind of defeated the beauty of the Jet Black. I'm still stuck at 10.1 so my phone looks like this

I did notice you can get a 32gb Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus now. That wasn't available before if I recall correctly.

It was essentially a special edition. The iPhone 5 had a dark grey called Slate that was never repeated.

Maybe they couldn’t make the Jet Black easily?

My guess is that hey wanted to keep the number of models down, as they they now have the 8, 8 Plus, and X.

Correct, prior to today's event. Jet Black only came in 128 GB and 256 GB. Now it's only 32 GB and 128 GB.

I love my Jet Black and I'm keeping her for the next year.....new iPhones: Pffft!
