ok.. so after trying to fix my phone.... I cant seem to get this to work for some reason.

i spelled it wrong the first time...

any idea?..
i'm trying to reinstall cydia after weird errors...

adding source and then freezing. I tried soft reboot and also deleteing the sources and reinstalling from ifile.

Use dpkg instead:

dpkg --remove cydia

Please note that this is not a Terminal problem. It's a using the wrong command problem.

Also be aware that removing and reinstalling Cydia will completely wipe out your database of installed packages. Doing this is generally a very bad idea.

thanks. and how do you re-install cydia?
 
Also, all of the apt commands (including apt-get) are not installed by default in cydia. You have to switch to Developer - No Filters, search for apt 0.7 and install all four of the packages that come up.

'course your having cydia problems, so you may have to install the debs manually from Saurik's website.
