walt mossberg says in his review
Geez I might as well buy it now.
I hope the UTD discs are the same!
I doubt it will be any different. Anyone who's getting SL thru UTD has a Mac w/ Leopard on it so why would Apple need further confirmation of that?
Yeah true, would sure be nice to have a full SL copy for when I want to pass my current mac over and perform a full format.
Wow. Even Mossberg is lukewarm on Snow Leopard. That's sort of a surprise. Although I wished he would have asked Apple about QuickTime X Pro.
Traditionally the Up-To-Date disks have checked for a previous installation of the previous OS before allowing you to install. No idea if they'll do that again, but they have been different from the retail disks in the past.
He seemed very positive, not lukewarm, to me.
I agree. I would say Walt very much likes Snow Leopard. The one point that he made was that it isn't a breakthrough product, which is unusual for Apple these days. But it sure does seem solid
Well I sure hope there's a way to turn that off. That is my most-hated feature in Word.
I thought Clippy & Ribbon were contenders?
