So the laggy keyboard is a known issue right?

God forbid I misspell a word, let me hit backspace, think it doesn't register, hit backspace again two more times, and all of a sudden all my letters are gone.

    Good lord that's annoying =-(

It's really horrible. What's weird is that sometimes its fine, other times its god awful.

If I have the iPod up, its basically unusable due to the lag. Ridiculous.

I find that when it starts doing that, just turn the phone off and back on. That seems to take care of it for a while.

I rarely have the problem. But it sure sucks when it does happen.

It's actually unacceptable on Apple's part that this isn't fixed yet, almost 2 months after the initial launch. It's a vital part of the phone and should've been working when it shipped. How many other phones are there which texting randomly won't work?

Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone but in its current state I could not possibly recommend anyone buys it because of all these problems.

ya i don't get why they don't have more updates for fixes. another glaring update, that isn't coming out until 2.2 is the security flaw with the pass code as well

It only happens to me when my phone is checking for email for something. I think I'm going to try turning off Push and see if that clears it up.
