So the Sen's will probably win the Stanley Cup

The Flyers are now on top of the NHL standings!!!! The first 60 point team!! Even though they are missing some of their top players! I can't wait until May/June.

Yeah, but first to 100 points is a lot better. Personally, I'm a Wings fan first and a Devils fan next. For me, it would get no better than 7 between Detroit and Colorado (always goes 7 anyway) and then 7 between Detroit and New Jersey.

Well, it was the Red Wings, you know.

I did so love the looks on the faces of the Wings fans when we beat them in the first game in their own house. And I was at Game 3, the 3-OT thriller which was also the loudest sporting event in history (human-generated sound: 116 dB peak, 110+ dB for FIVE STRAIGHT MINUTES).
 
The Flyers no doubt are doing well, especially since Forsberg has kicked his game up tow hat he used to do in Colorado.

I thought I would miss him, but our Rookie, SVATOS, is kicking ass for us. What's he at now? 22 goals this season, and he's a rookie? If you've had the opportunity to watch him skate, it's very remeniscent of ol' Forsey. We'll have to see how their game on the 14th goes. I wish it were here in Colorado. But to see Sakic and Forsberg go at it will be itneresting....

I still think the Sen's will take it though. Yeah, we're only midway, but they are sharp. Who knwos. Sens, or Flyers I bet.

Yeah, but both teams suck in the playoffs. Great regular season teams but playoffs??? Less than solid. For the last, what 10 years. I agree with the first part, Who Knows, too early yet, I'll have my picks in by the fourth round :D
 
Leafs, of course.

Leafs will beat Senators in the Play offs ( like they always do ) and onwards to victory.

If its not the Leafs, hopefully some other Canadian team.

ps. i'm glad were talking about a proper sport, unlike baseball*, american football or basket ball.

*watching it live is rather good - on TV its instant bordem.
 
Whether Buffalo makes it far this year or not, they are a team to be reakon with over the next few years. With Lindy Ruff in the drivers seat as the longest active coach for one team right now, hopefully he'll be able to keep some of that stamina in the Sabres players and keep them on the roster. Wish we could see the Sens and Sabres in the finals together, damn divisions. I'd like to see Hasek go up against his old team. Don't get me wrong though, he is my favorite all time goalie.
 
Av's just beat the Flyers 4-3 in OT. God, I was shaking that was such a close game. Av's had a 2 goal lead, blew it in the last three minutes of RT, and had a 5-3 powerplay in OT to win it. SUUUUUCH a close game. Take that for leaving us Forsey!

But anyway... lol

Flyers are still impressive. And when that ended the station went to Boston/Dallas. I didn't even know Boston still had a hockey team. lmao.

Oh, I'm gonna go drink!
 
you guys are all dumb, its obvious that the leafs are going to win, the sens have no playoff experience, they always own in the season then fall apart in the playoffs, they are to inexperienced, the leafs however, have enough experience and would beat ottawa in a play off game, GO LEAFS GO!!!
