its not mine..i just found it on youtube..

This was taped at the Grand Opening of the Apple Store in Roseville California on June 6. I believe the brand new desplay is showing unreleased footage of the "Compass" app due in the iPhone 3.0 Firmware release and the latest revision of the iPhone.

Pretty cool as it confirms that those other pics of the compass(and the other iphone pics from the same source) are real.

It's not a leak. It's probably just another "compass" as shown in their iPhone ad "itchy"

I don't understand how an app could be a compass without having a compass in the phone, but they're currently advertising it.

It is clearly not the same thing. They are showing this on a new phone, I'm pretty sure this wasn't meant to be on youtube.

You got me before I revised my post. I found that exact app in the app store, look at my previous post.

And it's just a black iPhone 3G, there's nothing new about it. When you look at it frame by frame, you can see the shinyness of the back piece.

Looking at it frame by frame, I believe you are correct.

Can I just say... the app shown CLEARLY just works off the accelerometer, it is by no means demonstrative of a compass.
