New Balance when I go walking or for extended trips outside, and Olukai slip-ons for brief things around home when shoes are required..........otherwise it's just socks

Some generic pair of black tennis shoes I got from Payless about 10-12 years ago. Normally it's flipflops from Walmart, but it's a rainy day in Phoenix today.

If I'm doing anything other than running around, there's a pair of yellow steel-toe boots from Walmart I use.

I do have a pair of Sears steel-toe boots I got in 1992 when I was 21. Various bits and a lot of soles were replaced by a local cobbler from 1992 to 1999. Use those when working in the yard.

A variety of shoes, mostly sneakers. I wouldn’t call myself a sneakerhead, but I do like shoes. I think at last count, I have around 35 pairs of footwear, all types considered.

I wear brooks brothers running shoes. That's it. I don't own any other shoe, slipper, or footwear.

Merrell's of some style. The Moab II Low Cut is my go to shoe for everyday wear, but have a couple of other styles.

If tennis shoes, then NB as they have a nice selection of Wide versions.

I’ve been seeking out the the most comfortable least expensive footware for a decade now. For serious running, when I ran, no skimping there.

I’m currently wearing a $20 pair of Dream Pair microfiber suede moccasins (for around the house), and a best buy was a pair of JIASUQI Men's Lightweight Athletic Sprot Running Casual Walking Shoes Army Green, would never use these for running, they would not hold up, just for casual wear around town. I want another pair, but they’ve not been available for some time. :(

only run when cops or immigration are after me...............
only time I bought expensive footwear was for my motorcycle boots, paid 200 for them. they have a quick release system that makes it easy to put on & off.

My wife has biker boots too, but she uses hers because she works as a teacher in an autism unit where some of the kids tend to have physical behaviors.

Pair those with her cholla glasses (Raybans) and her black leather jacket and you have a look (she's Mexican). :D

Yes. My wife and those students with this sort of behavior have reached a few understandings however. She's got all the formal school training on how to deal with all that and was dealing with DD adults in group homes (as a job) in the late 90s and early 00s before our kids came along. It also helps that her room has official EAs (Educational Aids) with the same training.

Still, she comes home with bruises some times.

When I retired I went to walking pair of NewBalance that lasted 10+ years! So when it was time to replace then I went for Black new pair!
I just threw away my 10+ year old tennis shoes last night. Turns out the sole finally cracked all the way across and through. Will probably be looking at Walmart for new shoes. :D
